EMHA has partnered with three other local interest groups to ensure the canteen at the Embro Arena is open on a regular basis for the 2017/2018 season. Along with increased regular hours, the canteen serves a more substantial menu of snacks and foodstuffs. EMHA is therefore looking for people interested in helping staff the canteen for one week every month. Hours would consist of weekday evenings, Saturday's, and a couple of hours on Sunday's. EMHA is flexible when it comes to this position and will consider the following scenarios:
1. A combination of volunteer hours and paid hours for a high school student
2. A combination of volunteer hours and paid hours for a community person
3. Parent or community volunteer
EMHA will not exceed paid hours over 50% of total hours worked. The hourly rate for paid hours is $10 an hour.
